“Who We Are”

About The World Interfaith Network Community

The members of the World Interfaith Network are part of a database of interfaith groups and diverse faith traditions which started within California, expanded to groups within the United States and now includes interfaith groups throughout the world.  We are committed to our Mission Statement and continue to seek new and unique ways to educate and serve our communities.  We stand by our brothers and sisters of ALL faiths to help bring Peace to Our World.  We have become a Cooperation Circle (CC) with United Religions Initiative (URI) to be able to spread the word about “CELEBRATING INTERFAITH” through our yearly ‘Interfaith Awareness Week’ (IAW) which occurs the second full week of August each year.  This further spreads the message that WE ARE NOT ALONE in respecting and honoring ALL people of ANY faith as equals. We have also become be a Charter for Compassion Partner in the Religion, Spirituality & Interfaith Sector.

We believe diverse faith traditions in our communities add to the richness of life.  When we meet and learn more about those who have faith traditions other than our own, we find many more similarities than differences.

For example, every faith tradition’s holy books teach something similar to “love your neighbor as yourself.”  We support a culture of Interfaith dialogue and inter-Religious cooperation as a way of life in all communities throughout California, the United States and the world.

Our Members Include (and are not limited to) Groups which Include followers of faith traditions that appear in the image below:
